Pours a deep red. Not as dark if a color that I would expect from an Arroyo PetiteSirah. Herbal notes with some mint accents highlight the aromas. Leather, dark berries and chocolate fill the taste. Not as bold as I would expect. A little white pepper and some drying tannins on the finish.

Excellent wine and can understand why it’s a hallmark of the Vincent Arroyo winery! Pouring it I first noticed how it coated the glass and on the last pour you can clearly see it’s a glass-staining wine in the best possible way. The taste is consistent throughout with slight tartness and tannic the more it sat. Just an overall excellent wine.
