This Croatian white wine is produced with native Pošip grapes, and its my first experience with this varietal. I was very surprised with this wine’s Chablis-like character: heavy minerals and deep acid with hints of herbaceous citrus that linger longingly on the pallet. Extremely enjoyable in the heat of the summer, and easily stood against its pairing of short ribs in heavy porter sauce. Enjoy!

Not knowing much about Croatian wine, we asked the advice of our waiter who's knowledge clearly exceeded the requirements of the majority of his job. A beautiful crisp, clean wine with a great balance of dry vs. fruit.
