Raconteur Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Lots of menthol. Kind of over whelming.

Also bought the Shiraz by this same vineyard and that was more enjoyable. This is quaffable but not memorable

Good representation of Cabernet; I liked the black fruit

Rich and full bodied. Soft tannin. Vanilla spice and slight smoke on the nose. Dark berry, baking spice and cherry pit on the palate. Not a big cab sauv guy. This is doable.

Dry, smooth

First wine of the holiday

3.0 a bit fruity but good value on sal in Kensimgton, maybe $13 or so.
