VIK La Piu Belle is the lady of their three wines. La Piu Belle retails for $75 and is their mid-line offering. It has a beautiful nose of violet, cassis, nutmeg, allspice and vanilla. There’s a light touch oak, but it’s definitely there. The palate shows great dark berries, sweet cranberry and blueberry with firm tannins and a great finish tinted by cranberry. To help match up with the descriptor, there is a woman on the label.

Sep 29th, 2018N: Manure, loam, spicy dark fruits ( the wife says no manure) definitely earthy and dirty, crushed blackberries, smells like a few cahors I’ve had.deep and dank.
P: Raisiny but not cloying, tart yet controlled, tannins quite resolved.
Very round on the palate. Delicious.
14° Easy to quaff.
This is no monster, consensus is it would work w poultry, some fish. We had beef stew.
For what it’s worth @Decanter gave this a 98.
