Dark cherry red colour of some transparency. Orangey crimson rim. Nose evolves from dusty tobacco leaf to opulent red fruits and finally black currant, peppermint, smokey truffles, milky chocolate, oaky prunes with vanilla. Seducingly enveloping palate of medium-plus body, balanced acidity and silky tannins. Black currant bush, black gooseberry, wild cherry, strawberry jam, wet leather belt, pu er tea, ripe plum. Finishes by striking red berries with wooden bark. Paired fine my peppered Black Angus steak.
