Gran Reserva Valle del Maipo Cabernet Sauvignon

I rate wines by how much headache they give me in addition to how they taste. If you’re similarly sensitive, stay away. Headache stuff.

I’m impressed with the quality for price on this wine from Costco. Black currants and raspberry on the nose, with the same fruits on the palate, but with leather and milk chocolate. This wine has a creamy feel, with gravel minerals and a good balance of acidity and tannins.

Came alive once given the time to open. Plum, blackberry and some hints of dark chocolate. Solid and enjoyable Cab from Chile.

Quite good and typifies the grape. Still think that we could get a better bang for the buck 87-

It's ok. Not worth restaurant price. Smells heavier than it is
