Jul 26th, 2016No vintage. Must be a blend of years. Viura is the Rioja name for the grape Macabeo. Quite a honeyed nose. Like many Mediterranean whites this is unctuous and a little viscous but then perversely finishes with an acidic cleansing finish. Good and different.

Pallet is citrus driven with notes of honey and minerals. Long finish with vibrant acidity. Mouth coating, fresh tasting and round.
