Cosecha Valdeorras Godello

Gorgeous golden yellow color and aromas of peach, pineapple, lemon, hazelnut and white pepper. Luscious and zippy on the fruit that captures the nectar of stone fruits and the abundance of tropical pineapple flavors with a crisp, refreshing core of acid and slight notes of fresh hay on the finish. A beauty.

If you let its finish linger, and it will, this Godello reminds me in its residue of fine, unoaked white Burgundy. Not too acidic but subtle and perfectly balanced.

Great godello. Nice full body, pear, mineral, good acidity.

Glorious.

A grape resurrected by the crazy Spaniards. Delicious and crisp like honeysuckle. And it does go well with the chicken.

Rich nose with an iron tang. Floral top with concentrated candied fruits underneath accentuated by a heavy silk mouth feel. The iron saline tang wraps the finish.
