Probably the best Syrah in the world at this price point! Truly deserving of the Decanter world wine award! Smoked Meat & spice, violets, black pepper and beautiful blue and black berry fruit with a light handed touch in the winery. Not quite as good as the '10, but still smoking!

Remarkable QPR #valleydeelqui #syrah. Open the screw top, pour and you’re immediately greeted by smoked meat, bacon, black olive aromas. After it fully opens, blue and black fruit base slides underneath those savory overtones. Generous acidity provides lift with supple tannins on a longer chewy finish. Tried this at Maxwell and really enjoyed it. Smoky, fruity, high tannin, low acid and full body.

Rather uninteresting, plush, bit heavy even slightly chilled. To me missing all elements that good Syrah can bring. Maybe off-bottle but this was only good for a sauce
