Viña Errazuriz
La Cumbre Syrah
Aconcagua, Chile
Opened second yesterday after the La Sirena 2005 Syrah was a bit tough ( Sunny's parent's are visiting). Crowd please, velvety and smooth, great nose of dark fruits, lighter notes and less heavy undertones compared to the La Sirena. Finished tonight with pasta and truth be told, some Korean scallion kimchee ( not an obvious pairing) but Sunny said it was great!

Nov 9th, 2015Saturday night after we both had a long massage. Black fruit, cherry, plum, a whiff of fresh hay, a sharp bitter greens smell. Very smooth, induces salivation. We like it! Bought this at Enoteca after meeting the winery owner from Chile. Family has been making wines since 1870
