Ok, not what i was expecting..i felt it was thin, too acidic and low tannin. Tart red fruits...paired with lamb...just didnt do it for me. Otherwise easy drinking rioja....

Closed nose at first, some oak, minty spice, almost licorice. Palate is smooth, with some acidity but less tannin than I expected. Finish has a little bitterness topside. Day 2 the nose has some leather but the palate has oxidized a little. Increased acidity is refreshing, on the other hand.
