Wonderful balance, mouth-filling and ripe tannins and loads of black fruit, violet and chocolate. A luscious wine that shows how well carefully crafted Malbec can age.

100pt Parker wine. Very polished mouthfeel. Fig, and plum. Seems very port-like. Highly extracted but seamless.

Floral, ripe figs, dense and extreme but balanced, violets, scorched earth, purple, red and black fruit melange. More shy than 2009 but it's still a baby, give it 2 years and check back.

This is hedonistic on most wine people's scales, though if you think before you just taste and keep thinking through the finish this wine has breadth on a long scale and good acidity. Lead pencil, cherry, violet flowers, scorched Graves like earth. The palate is full bodied as is the finish which sails and fans out and closes out nicely with an good rush of acid.

A lot better than I thought it would be. Great acid, beautiful fruit. Needs time. I still think Archavel is king of Malbec.

Best malbec I've ever had. Dark, inky--ripe fruit and a distinct flavor I can only describe as dark chocolate covered olives.
