Jan 8th, 2017This bottle matured beautifully. Front to back with melted tannins and secondary fruit and firm acid but really drinkable now. Knowing how they grow the grapes and tent to their expression they should be proud. Kiki and Michael.

Sep 9th, 2016I was super impressed when this wine was young as structure and fruit profile was stellar so bought a few cases. Unfortunately this bottle seemed flat and list that luster. Need to try more bottles...yikes!

Nov 12th, 20152011 vinroc Cabernet caves. A true beauty. 2011 completely missed atlas peak at the 1200 to 1600 elev. so balanced and the fruit did not suffer one bit. #pnv15 #atlaspeak

Smooth. Delicious. Full taste. Nice linger. Grapes 🍇 abound, dark fruits, and charcoal.

Day Two: this has softened somewhat but it still projects such a massive and brooding intensity that I feel it needs a few more years. Raspberry-laced cassis is center stage with notes of oak, leather and earth sequenced on the very long finish. This is not for fans of soft, sweet cabs. It's like Lumberjack cab.

Coravin on one btl on May 23; control btl and Coravin btl stored together; tasted both July 11. Slight variations btwn the two but not glaring differences.
