Grand Cellier d'Or 1er Cru Brut Champagne Pinot Noir Chardonnay

If there was a perfect champagne to accompany caviar, this is it. A beauty, nice bubbles in a light frothy mousse. Aromas of stone fruits and floral scents. Pear, Apple and Peach flavors were well balanced with acidity. A meal on its own. Tasting Sample.

Dense and power packed as should be expected from Vilmart. Red apple not green. Brioche and meringue. Very good.

Drank this kinda late nite & probably didn't appreciate it as much as it should be.

Nice vintage Champagne. Soft bubbles, good yeastiness with a ton of acid on the finish. May need any these few years to come into balance, was a bit disjointed on the finish. Still very nice.

Honeydew nose, vibrant. Perfect w Herbsaint (Nola ) gumbo or anything Chef creates. Premier Cru for a special day (Wed!)

Wow. Best wine of the night. The 2009 is great.

A touch of apples. Lovely way to celebrate a 1 year anniversary.
