The NV Brut Grand Cellier is bright, effusive and wonderfully charming. White flowers, chalk, mint and lemon confit give this mid-weight, nervy Champagne tons of energy. All the elements are so nicely put together. I especially like the energy and crystalline purity here. There are a lot of terrific wines in this range, but the Grand Cellier is quintessentially Vilmart. This release is based on 2019, with the addition of reserve wines from 2018. Dosage is 7 grams per liter. Disgorged: May 2022. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2023)

Lemon and Citrus generally. Some mineral and a little salt. Overall very refreshing - a better summer time Champagne rather than winter. Very enjoyable but a few grades behind their Coeur du Cuvée which is excellent. Malolactic fermentation blocked in all Cuvées apparently.

Met up with @Kimberly Anderson and @Chad Anderson in Chicago with my Dad. They brought this outstanding bottle for happy hour at Bellemore. This was 80/20 Chardonnay/Pinot Noir. Creamy, balanced and noticeable purity. Marked acidity and length. Paired 👌🏽 with kampachi crudo apps and exceptional company!

My go to wine. Never disappoints. Stunned many first timers with it, and will again, I'm sure. The confidence of Laurent Champs is apparent in every sip. Only gains in complexity with air. Refreshing, delicious, fascinating. Disgorged in fall of 2015.

Disgorgement 2015 - best bubbles I’ve had in a while with subtle ripe pear and a whiff of almond marzipan

Nose of almond biscotti. The palate shows stone fruit, key lime cheesecake. Delicious

Digging this disgorgement a lot. Carries more finesse than before, beautiful wine like always.
