Heavy bottle. Plant/culinary driven narrative about the winery. Lots of the wines from here at Grocery Outlet over the last year. Wonder if it went under. Color of rubies in the glass. Smells a bit like wood, hot rocks and berry sauce. Flavors are decent. Jammy, juicy, fairly tight. Plenty of tannins and fairly complex. Has a bit of that CA oak-ed, locked and loaded thing. But it’s pretty good and the heavy bottle and style of the wine make it a good one to impress folks with.

Good with homemade mommy’s pizza. Hadn’t seen one of these not from Italy. Has a little sweet but that dry creek valley bite. Great wine
