50/50 blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The notes hits you with rich aromas black fruits, oak, spice, dark chocolate, cedar, and a touch of sweet almond paste. Light and dry on the palate with dusty tannins. Juicy sour cherry with bright acidity leads to to notes of dried herbs and black tea. The finish is long and dry with soft, dusty tannins. After a couple hours of being open the tannins and acid soften but the palate doesn't really develop.
