Though a 2005, the tannins are still rough. Not a refined wine. With 1 hour of air the wine softens a bit but still not great. I keep revising this rating because the wine improves substantially with 1.5 hours of decanting. Out of the bottle initially it is an 85 rating. With a lot of air, it increases to 88.

Easy drinking Provençal red. Not overly peppery. Nicely complimented our dinner of country pate, ravioli with lamb jus, and veal with mushrooms. 6/21/15.
