This is a good wine. But drink it after a Zenato Amarone and it will remind you of a ripasso.

Not much up front but we let this one breathe for a while. Smooth wine which opened up nicely over time. Not a record breaker but a decent Amarone for the price

Dark cherry, hint of spice. New to Amarone's, like it!

Nice dark maroon. Cola, brown sugar, anise. Medium bodied with ripe red fruits, raspberry, black cherry, and bitters adding depth to the bouquet. Long finish where the tannins finally show through. I'd wait a couple more years. 90
