Nice Italian red, I received this as a gift via WSJ wines. Enjoyed with Pizza as recommended by a book that I read. Nice color, good legs and fruity bouquet. Taste was a little astringent at first but mellowed quickly, hints of tobacco and spice. Smooth on the backend. I am more of a French and CA red wine guy but will have to find this and buy again.
