Damas Noir Adelaida District Mourvedre

Big, juicy and wild Mourvedre fruit up front, not much on the mid palate, then glycerol and fumes on the finish. Not my jam, but I can see the appeal for lovers of the more full throttle style.

Still could have sat longer. Tasted beautiful. Rich and full. A little fade in the body after the start. One of my all time favorites from Villa Creek.

100% Mouvedre. A great experience drinking a varietal solo that you're much more used to as a blending grape. Fruit, earth, smoke. Really nice.

Easter 2016 at Hobbs house

I never drink this varietal solo. It was really fun to explore. Very big wine still even with some bottle age. Good stuff with plenty of stuffing.

Second awesome Villa Creek I have had in recent months. Great balance with smooth fruity earthy goodness working well right now.

Not a bad pairing with lamb lollipops, roasted potatoes, & Brussel sprouts with bacon.
Also a nice reprieve in baltimore.

2010. Always the soft sustained earthy Mourvèdre.

Tasting really great. A little heat on the finish.
