Intruiging on the nose , much more full bodied and powerful in the mouth. Dark ruby colour. Punchy but good balance with alcohol at 14% and flavours of plum and blackcurrant. Elevated the accompanied dish of lamb with apricots and roast veg.

Clearly defined dark berries, leather, and soil with subtle secondary bitterness, then a lingering pleasant finish.
Less “rounded” than Californian Cab Sauv (not a bad thing). Beauty!
