This fun bubbly brings the brut. It's Sahara dry, with a strong earthy and yeasty streak running through it. The unusual grape - Trepat - comes on with some of the earthiness of a North American variety, and provides a nice counterpoint to the Pinot Noir. It's my first time to taste Trepat, by the way, and I would do it again. Minerals all over the strawberry aromas and flavors hit very well, and provide food friendliness. Nice price alert: $16
