Immediate green stemmy funk blows off after a couple minutes. Aromas are somewhat closed, but there is a nice variety: ripe strawberry, pomegranate, cranberry; anise, black licorice and root beer. Palate is ripe and juicy, almost sweet, with soft but enveloping tannins. Medium fruit-driven acids. Very pretty, yet highly drinkable.

Fine natural wine. Conveys what’s best about Gamay Beaujolais. Bursting with red berry flavors, medium finish, refreshingly better with every taste.

big and smooth. a nice surprise for someone who’s not a Beaujolais drinker. I could live without the wax coating over the cork.
