Well I’m no Grenache fan, as we all know (aside from my cherished Châteauneuf dp). However, I’m willing to give this its fair shake. It’s less sweaty sock and more fruit. Freshness over obliterating fruit. Vanilla tanins punching too hard and a little more concentrated than I like. But I’m also biased.

Started with one glass at Minetta Tavern, let friends try a sip, ended up with three bottles for the table. Stone fruit, tobacco, spice, perfect with filet mignon.

Supple red and black fruit, rustic malic edge. Peppery, bright acidity. Easy to like and bet it cellars.

Very nice, light bodied wine. Mainly grenache (80% I believe) Raspberry, cherry, underbrush. Wonderful acid to complement the red fruit. Throw a chill on it and it's a bonafide porch-pounder
