Fresh, fruity, funky. Delicious and very fun! A very geeky wine.

Vignenvie Calico VDF 2014, from a group of villagers in Charnay including Eric Texier - the hectare of field blend vines are in front of his cellar. Very bright and floral, with refreshing acidity.

Super natty on paper just not too exciting for me. The muscat doesn’t really come through. But still enjoyable.

Smelled a bit tropical on nose - fun wine to explore.

Super interesting white blend from Beaujolais by Eric Texier. Kitchen sink blend, supposedly even the winemaker isn't sure what some of the native grapes are. Nose reminscent of a Jura white, with hints of oxidation. Tart, funky flavors on the palate, reminds me more of some of the project wines Ive had from Napa like Scholium Project than a French wine. Different, funky but very enjoyable.
