Lovely acidity. Much more character than a typical Gavi. Almost reminds me of a cross between a Vouvray and a Greco di Tufo. Yellow and golden fruits.

Superlative Gavi by Banfi - revitalizing, vibrant, elegant & sapid. 100% Cortese. Partial MLF.

Lemony yellow with clean greenish glitters.
Subtle yet distinct nose of linden blossom, white rose, banana, ripe yellow apple, limestone, white grapefruit and marzipan. Whiff of white raspberry & marjoram.
Perfectly balanced medium-bodied palate, with vivid acidity and strong mineral backbone. Refreshing and kind of creamy. Citrus (mostly lemon and white grapefruit), carambola, green gooseberry, pippin apple, quince.
Rosemary, white currant and pippin apple.
Paired my gilt-head bream baked with herbs finely!
