Vigna Del Parroco
Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato
2016 vintage. Very much reminds me of an elegant and fragrant village level Burgundy. Tart and black cherries, raspberry, dried cranberry, violets, dried rose petals, dried citrus peel, bergamot, green tea, red apple skin, little but of stale spice and herbs. Very light-bodied, good summer red.

Beautiful note, reminds me a little of Nebbiolo: perfume, recipe red fruit, just wants you to put your nose in the glass. Little heavier on the palate with noticeable acidity and some tannins.
