Funky nose at the beginning but it was gone soon. Barnyard, bell pepper, bacon, leather, sweet cinnamon, coffee followed with good red fruits. Soft and resolved tannin, just beautiful. Bright acidity. Drinking this is like appreciating an oil painting from a master. Very impressive and elegant. 1996 vintage
