Mencia from Bierzo - always a delicious drink.

The great #Chase talking about joy of juicy light wine

Initially closed on the nose but grew with some air time. Quite floral, red fruits, red liquorice, tonka bean providing some exotics and a hint of leather. Medium bodied with a nice pucker of tannin to it. Rate it, drinks best with a chill knocked into it

Immediately jumps fake tan, yoyo biscuit and anise. Pretty boring fruit profile of red fruits which isn't very assertive. The wine feels much older than it is and lacks any freshness. No finish, no freshness to the structure, no real intensity in the gob. Can't say i'm at all thrilled with the recommendation here

Mycket bärigt, inte överdrivet strävt, men ändå torrt.

Beautiful fruit forward red. Plenty of juicy cherry fruit with a mild smokey after finish. Velvety mouthfeel. Great value from Berry Bros.

Dry, dusty, good structure, long length.
