This bottle most definitely catches the eye with its striking metallic gold coating. The 2008 Victoire Gold Vintage Champagne is $100 from Dan Murphy’s. It’s a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes and I have to admit, it goes down pretty well!

It’s a brass bullet colour on the eye (nice descriptor Mr. Spittoon!) with aromas of fruit pie, vanilla pastry and refreshing citrus. In the mouth it’s undoubtedly flavoursome with passionfruit and lime dominating for me followed by a thirst quenching citrus finish. It went down a treat!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #sample #tcweekdaywine
