Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon

Very cool wine. Probably would've guessed Bordeaux blind. From the (I think) Mondavi years.

A personal blend I was allowed to make in 90/91 ..

Really well cellared. Surprisingly impressive. Dare I say Bordeaux like with nice cedar, tobacco and leather notes..

Blind as usual. Extremely stinky nose that almost made me not taste the wine. Strong tannins. But integrated. No fruit on the nose but light cherry fruit on the palate.
