Basic and simple label. No extras. Rust edged ruby colored in the glass. Aroma is unique. Old books in a wood paneled room meets well made finished compost with a splash of cherry preserves. Flavors are cooked a bit, but not overly oxidized. Plenty of the cherry. Black cherry jam. Savory streak. Complex finish with some minty zip. This is fairly smooth and elegant. Low alcohol of 13%. Very much an Italian style like good chianti or clean Barbera. Great red vino at a very good price.

Super drinkable, on the leaner side with hints of cherry & new leather. A linger at the table & keep sipping kind of wine!
