This is great mountain juice. Deep purple with ruby at the edges - no signs of bricking. Nose is fairly muted with a little cotton candy and spearmint. Purple fruits balanced by some real tannic backbone - exactly what you’d want to balance out the wine. Long finish with milk chocolate notes. The Cab Franc is more expressive on the palate than the nose. Very good.

Really nice but not as good as the -07. More fruit forward with lighter tannins and a short finish.
