Does anyone else watch the Die Hard movies at Christmas? It’s a bit of a tradition in our hose and this #aldichampagne was a fitting accompaniment 👌
I recently spotted this Champagne Monsigny NV Brut Rosé at Aldi for $25 and I couldn’t help myself. For the money, the Monsigny champagne range from Aldi are damn good value. Mr Spittoon and I have drank our fair share of them. We’ve also visited Charles Mignon, the champagne house behind this range in France 🇫🇷
It’s made from an even blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes 🍇
In the glass it’s a pretty coral pink shade. It welcomes your senses with notes of red berries and spice, citrus zest and a hint of brioche. While in the mouth it’s got fresh strawberries, raspberries and orange citrus. I’d buy it again. Head over to the blog for more #aldiwine tasting notes 🥂
