Got to take advantage of another Wednesday Wine Committee and boy was it worth it. Wow! Killer wines brought by Glenn for his 60th!

I've now had the 2008 and 2010 back to back in less than a month and I'm sold on this stuff. The fruit in these vintage champagnes, even with age, is so impressive. Granny Smith apple, croissant bun and grilled pear. Killer!

Another great Weekly Wine Committee in the books, this time hosted by Dan. Format stayed the same (1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert wine) and everything is guessed blind.

100% loved this. Very crisp and yeasty, but a lot of fruit was there, mainly grapefruit. I guessed French champagne correctly, but assumed NV as it was so fruit forward.

Still really love this and it’s showing just as well (but not necessarily better) than a few years ago. Wish I had more. Very well balanced with perfect micro bubbles. Refreshing at the same time as a bit interesting.

Softer bubbles and more of a crisp white wine flavor. Very nice.

Matured at least 36 months... Pinot noir and 30% Chardonnay...apricots and honey notes; their rose is great too
