Terre Siciliane Nero d'Avola

2014 vintage. A dark dense looking wine with a nose of figs, dried fruits, and slight oak influence. Big and fruit forward in the mouth with fine tannins and a finish of dried tea leaves.

Tomato stem. Acidic, good flavor and light body. Great with amatriciana

Ok. There are wines out there I like better for $14.50

Entru level red from southern Italy. Inoffensive.

Fruity and subtle, well-rounded

N: slightly brassy/savory cherries and eucalyptus.
P: some tannic structure big ripe/bake fruit.
