Blackberry, cassis, mocha, licorice and oak. Great structure and well-integrated tannins.

Much needed family field trip today in Afton Virginia. Solid, more than a kiss of oak, I'd like to see the percentage of American brought down a bit but nice #wine

Earthy and peppery nose. Oak, black cherries, spice, and tannins on palate.

A well-made wine. Uniquely Virginia but can stand it's own against any wine made in America.

Wow. Everything I've had from Veritas has been great. Great mouthfeel and finish. Cherry licorice and a hint of tobacco on the nose.

Very nice full body red

Buttery, rich, wonderful nose. One of my favorite wines. A bit pricey but worth it.

We bought this 2010 Veritas Bordeaux blend at the cellar door during a wonderful wine tasting visit to the Charlottesville region of Virginia. After laying it down for 5 years, it was certainly worth it. We went back to the vineyard in 2015, weren't disappointed, and are investing once again for the future. Another case laid down.
