Medium gold, heavy in the glass like oil. Ripe apricot nose. Also notes of peach, vanilla, wet pebble stones, sweet kiwi fruit. Huge power in the mouth where the fruit matches some big structure. Long finish. This wine ebbed and flowed all day and needed to be chilled down a few times with the warm outside weather. Drink these sooner rather than later.

Tasted blind. Nice deep yellow gold color. The nose immediately says this is a great older white burg. Notes of vanilla, stones, lemon creme, pear, marzipan and a little spice. Gobs of fruit in the mouth matched against a very present but softer acidity spine. Coats the mouth. Silky. I guessed 86 Bonneau du Martray CC.
