Ver Sacrum
Doña Mencia De Los Andes
Smells. Of freshly washed yoghurt topping fruits,
Continued into the flavor of the wine - blueberry, raspberry, blackberry blend. Medium bodied and absolutely delicious.
Full bright fruit that is tempered by some oak aging.
Fermented in concrete.
These folks really know how to produce fresh and flavorful wines.
Point reduction do to the waxed neck - which is tedious and ridiculous to open.

The wine bar turned out to not be as great as we thought it would be. However the experience with Mencia .. amazing.

This is just different. Mencia planted in 2011 in Argentina. Not like the Spanish version exactly, but not too distant. Aromas of cherry, raspberry, and blueberry with a distinct violet note. Juicy, mineral, and balanced in the mouth, with lower tannins and sturdy acid made it a great match for burgers for a pre-Mother’s Day cookout. Delicious and unique.
