Enjoying the nose on this wine. Tart cherry, strawberry jam on the nose with a touch of prune. Balanced on the palate. Light and smooth.

How can you extract all the flavor from a Sangiovese? Where did it go, because it's not in the glass. Very disappointing.

Bought this when in the NY Finger Lakes. A surprisingly nice dry Italian red varietal. strawberry and tart cherry Flavors. A bit over priced but a very nice red which you don't expect to find in Riesling country. I enjoyed it. Better than many $15.00 California red wines.
