This was a full on assault on your senses. The initial nose was black currents, blackberries and black cherries. It took several minutes to recover my breath for a second go. Someone has turned the volume up to 11 with this wine. It did not let up on the pallet. Rich autumn fruits, leather, polish, vanilla. It had all sorts going on. I would not say it was complex just loud and heavy. You don't have this wine with a meal it is the meal.
