A nice and fruity Pinot Noir from the house of the Wagner family.
Showing black fruits with chocolate notes, tobacco, light vegetables, earth, vanilla, oak and alcohol.
Medium bodied with medium acidity. Dry on the palate and rich.
Nicely balanced and easy drinking with mild complexity and a nice mouthfeel.
Spicy finish with soft tannins.
A little better than the Meiomi Pinot Noir.
14.9% alcohol by volume. (so watch out 😉)
88 points.
$20.

The palate shows rich red fruits of raspberries, cherries and strawberries, with sweet spice. Good balanced, smooth texture, hint of mineral brings this wine to a medium length finish. Nice value Joe.

Sep 7th, 2020I'm a huge fan of Joe Wagner and his wines and this one did not disappoint. A deeper wine than Meiomi, if that makes sense. First time trying it will definitely be adding it to the rotation.
