The 2021 Sauvignon Ronco Delle Mele is delicate and understated in the glass, wafting up with hints of gingery spice and dried apricots. This is silky smooth and medium-bodied, with ripe orchard fruits and exotic spices flowing effortlessly across a juicy acidity core. A staining of saline minerals is left lingering beneath an air of inner florals as the 2021 finishes cooling and fresh. There are depths of silky textures, seeming almost oily at times; yet balance is expertly maintained as nuances of kiwi and sweet exotic spices collect upon the senses. Sour tropical melon, crystalized ginger and hints of mint all linger long, while the 2020 tapers off with tension, yet still incredibly fresh. Pungent, mineral, exotic nose but finely etched palate. Held up nicely with multiple days in bottle, would love to explore with some time shed some primary character.

Refreshing and lively. Grassy up front and was great with a shrimp and chili pasta but would be enjoyable at the beach. Showed melon, peach, herbs, pepper and flowers. A bargain.

Rich and creamy. Briny salinity, wild herbs, barnyard funk, clay, and yet with undertones of ripe tropical fruits. Moderate plus acidity and body. A unique Friuli Sauvignon Blanc.
