2018 vintage. This is soooo good. First time with the variety. Candied violet and rose petal big time, with fresh cherry, pomegranate, red plum, incense, stemmy spice and tarragon, black rocks. Light- to medium-bodied and very gulpable with a light chill.

Made with 100 % Lacrima de Morro, Lacrima Querciantica is fragrant and seductive. Notes of red rose, purple tulip, violet and Iris jump out from the glass and couple with ripe strawberry, red cherry, licorice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium bodied with silky tannins and bright acidity.

I believe a first for me. Dark black olive color. Tight aromas of purple flowers and black fruits fighting to get the forefront. Fresh, grapey notes upon opening and after aeration, more savory, stemmy, bitter blackberry with fine chalky tannin. Opened 11/9/27

Tasted like drinking violets. Sort of overwhelming floral but at the same time I liked it. Medium body and acidity.

Very herbal with notes of soap, licorice, violets. If you've had Sen Sen, you'll know this immediately. Light + body, ultra dry with tweaky acid. A fun, simple zippy example.
