Nice single vineyard New Zealand Pinot. Not the spritzy cherry rut I've fallen into, but more a full plush strawberry rhubarb pie. Earthy, pruney, and stemmy given some time. Worthy of the Hobbit scenery. 17 months in barrel. Tastes like a serious effort from a reasonably priced producer.
