Sipping Fine Wine

Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, blossom and sweet spice, spending 20 months in new French oak, grapes grown mostly in alluvial sandy souls. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with notes of licorice, cacao and spice, savory. Full fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and mineral character, slight alcohol presence. Tried about a year ago, aging well!

This is what I imagine a good Toro would be: a rich and powerful rendition of Tempranillo. Blackberry, plum, licorice, fig, incense, espresso, and earth. Exuberant and dense on the palate but there is enough acidity to carry the weight. Gripping tannins.
From the founder of Bodega Numanthia, and I think this is better than the Numanthia. Wish I bought more.

Bold and fruity, but goes down very smooth. Does not taste like a 15.5% alcohol wine at all.

Big, bold black fruit, smoke, clove, and mint. Very good and not for the faint of heart. Think Mollydooker but from Spain. Recommend with a nice, hearty steak.
