Wines from Toro are always interesting. This one is ripe and extracted - 100 % Tempranillo. I never knew Tempranillo could be extracted this much. Strong nose of ripe red fruit with notes of candied strawberry on the palate.Long, lingering finish. Fascinating wine - extremely good. 2015 vintage on Sep 20, 2019
Wines from Toro are always interesting. This one is ripe and extracted - 100 % Tempranillo. I never knew Tempranillo could be extracted this much. Very supple and deep with a nice nose of vanilla bean, oak, soaked leather, and rich plums. On the palate soft, integrated tannins with a rich litany of dark fruits and baking spices.
