Nicely resolved, cedar, cassis, mint, tomato leaf, but burst of fruit on the finish. More than manageable ABV. Very good. Rebuy if I can find it again.

I initially feared that this wine would be past its use by date. Could not have been more (happily) mistaken. After an hour in the decanter it was singing. Elegant and medium bodied with a terrific ensemble of flavours such as cassis, black olive, tobacco and black cherry. Perfectly suited to the leg of lamb I had for my Sunday roast.

1998 from the cellar door restaurant. Still full of guts, round and luscious with spine. Excellent

Cedar, cassis, orange marmalade. Amazing cab, take note New World this is what you should be trying to do.
