Napa Valley Ribolla Gialla

It took a long time to open up, but it definitely took us on a cool ride. Oxidized? Sure. Flawed? No. Lively, vibrant and ultra complex.

Lucky to drink another bottle of this. Needed some time, but opened nicely with dried apricots, nuts and a touch of petrichor on the palate.

Ribolla fever.....

Some history here. Very rich, butterscotch, baking spices, fat, a lot of personality, just like George Vare.
